The Beginning of Clay

“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
E.E. Cummings

I saw a photograph of a young man in a cowboy hat in a magazine. The photograph is unusually detailed. It really has a lot of information in it. I also think that the man has an interesting face. He also has a hat on. And you know how much I love hats. So here she goes… a little sketch of a man named Clay begins. I worked on it tonight for about an hour. I like posting the beginnings of a sketch online. It shows me if the drawing is progressing along the right lines and what areas I need to work on next.
